Regional Training (Calman) Days
Regional Training (Calman) Days occur once a month for at least 10 months of the year.
Occasionally they will be cancelled to allow trainees to attend other relevant meetings or courses; for example 2016 there will be no training day in March to encourage trainees to attend the Birmingham Movement Disorders Course.
Unless otherwise specified they will be on the second friday of every month, with the exception of August. Clinics etc. should be cancelled to allow trainees to attend.
The Calman Days are open to general medical trainees but places are limited. Please contact tom.hayton@uhb.nhs.uk if you are a GIM trainee and would like to attend.
The timetable for upcoming Calman Days will be attached to this page as they become available along with the timetable for the whole year.
